Transaction Cost Analysis FX, Fixed Income & Derivatives
This detailed report is based on 27 in-depth responses across Asia and Europe. This report is holistically covering the aspects of how the buy-side can leverage their organisation, outline processes, how they want to use TCA technology and to which extent existing TCA brands are used today and TCA brands that the buy-side believe are the most promising. This report is revealing in detail the areas of innovation of TCA technologies the buy-side are asking for today. Did you know that some buy-side trading desks already have built in-house Fixed Income TCA systems to better seek liquidity and identify likely counterparties? If individual well-funded trading desks are already able to do this, what would it take for commercial TCA suppliers to catch up building similar TCA systems?
This detailed report is based on input from 56 in-depth survey responses across Asia and Europe about how buy-side traders can leverage their organisation, processes, technologies, partnerships and the market to be successful in equity trading. The report lists the buy-side’s top 5 favourite algorithmic strategies, liquidity providers, trading venues, independent platforms and EMS and OMS suppliers. In addition to an equity market outlook, the buy-side explain their main concerns and inhibitors to access liquidity and how regulations may further affect access to liquidity in the future. The buy-side survey was conducted end of 2014 and debated until 17th June 2015 in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore and London for further qualitative input and clarification.
This detailed report is based on input from 54 in-depth survey responses from senior and Heads of Trading exclusively from buy-side firms across Asia and Europe about unbundling of research and management of dealing commissions. The report outlines holistically how the buy-side are organised, their processes, technologies used for automation and the impact of unbundling on the broker relationships. The detailed responses show how the buy-side are budgeting for research, receiving pricing from brokers and an objective view of the use of CSA vs. full unbundling in different regions.
